Oracle of Seasons
In 'Oracle of Seasons' (Gameboy Color) Link awakens in a land called Holodrum, where he makes the acquaintance of a traveling group of performers. Among them is a young woman named Din, the dancing girl. Impa, the Princess Zelda's most trusted nursemaid, tells Link that Din has taken care of him since finding him nearby. Another member of the troupe reveals that Din is 'smitten' with Link. Upon talking to Din, she asks him to dance with her. Soon after, the troupe is attacked by a mysterious tornado- The General of Darkness has come for Din, the Oracle of Seasons, and it is up to Link to gather eight essences hidden in the land, and save her before Holodrum is completely thrown into chaos.
The manga has a few differences to it, of course. One of them is that the age difference between Link and Din is very obvious, whereas it was not mentioned at all in the game. Another is Link's character. Link's background in the game is not known, but in the manga he is introduced as a young boy living on a farm with his grandparents. Link wakes up in Holodrum while traveling to Hyrule to take the Knight Test. There, he wanders into a show being performed by the troupe, and Din chooses him from the crowd to dance with her. Nerves shaken by the dancing girl's beauty, Link runs off and runs into the General of Darkness, who takes his life energy from him and leaves him for dead. Din discovers Link and saves him. From then on, Link joins the troupe and the rest of the story progresses only after the troupe makes a stop at the Temple of Seasons.
Him
Link has gone through many changes, both in personality and looks, over the years. Still, no matter whether he is Link, the sarcastic, brazen young man of the American cartoon, or Link, the stoic, straightforward young boy found in games such as Ocarina of Time, one thing always remains true: He is Link, the hero, and he has saved the world time and time again.
Her
In Ocarina of Time, Din was introduced in a legend as one of the three goddesses said to have created Hyrule, and to have held the Triforce of Power.
Din, the Oracle of Seasons, seems to be a different character than this goddess, and the relationship between them and their shared names are both mysteries. A few theories have been tossed around, such as Din is the reincarnation of the Goddess, or even that she was only named after her. She loves to dance, and is admired for her beauty and grace.
Them
It is obvious that by the end of both the game and manga, Din and Link have struck up a formidable friendship.
In the beginning of the game, a member of the troupe tells Link that Din is quite smitten with Link, and she asks him to dance with her. In the manga, Link says that Din is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. These are the only two true hints at anything more than friendship between the two, but there are many who believe Link and Din would also make a good couple.
